A Speech Writer's Dilemma

In 1933, in FDR’s 1st Inaugural Address, he committed himself and his administration to a "new deal for the American people."

In 1937, he talked about a "Second New Deal" that included the WPA and Social Security.

In 1949, in his Inaugural Address, Truman first used the term “Fair Deal

In 1961, JFK reiterated his call for the relentless pursuit of a New Frontier” that he had first mentioned during his acceptance speech at the Dem convention.

In 1965, LBJ rededicated himself to do "the best I can to heal old wounds and to reach for the Great Society”.

Knowing what a serious student of political history Barack Obama is, what will be the phrase that he wants remembered?
